Depending on your address, your permit goes through either the City of Ocala or the Marion County Building Department. We prepare the plans, submit the application, and schedule every required inspection so you’re never the one on hold with the permitting office.

We carry general liability and workers’ compensation insurance and will provide proof of coverage before a single tool touches your property.

Counting permit review, a simple single-level deck often wraps up in 3–4 weeks total. Larger, multi-level, or covered projects can run 5–8 weeks once you factor in engineering review and weather.

Wood costs less up front and can be stained any color you like, but needs resealing every year or two. Composite costs more initially but needs no staining, resists Florida’s humidity and UV, and typically lasts decades longer.

Not necessarily. If the framing, posts, and ledger board are still structurally sound, we can often replace just the surface boards and railings for a fraction of full-replacement cost.
